A firm believer that classical theatre can and should be accessible, both for the actor and the audience, Kelly has worked to come up with ways of bringing new life to these tried and tested plays. From a 1950's inspired version of The Merry Wives of Windsor, to a Twelfth Night set inside a genie's bottle, to a more traditional rendering of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband, she has sought to infuse the shows she personally directs with immediacy and life, while always keeping in mind the universality of the plays which made them classics in the first place.
